23-29 of december

This is for the week of December 23-29
This a statue of a famous person that is a big part of St. Louis history so the city decided to honor him this way

Yes it is a statue of Chuck Berry I like this because it came out of  the camera and look good all I had to do was polish it a little

I took this to show the Gibson guitar that was Chuck Berry choose to play

This is in the place where I ate at it is Fitz's root beer bottling works.  They have a a bunch of cool things there plus the food is good

Other than messing with the color in this one it came out of the camera this way what I did was took a long exposure shot and zoomed out with it  took me only to tries to get it right

And this is just some random lady that i though twas a little nuts because it was like 35 degrees outside that day

Week of December 16-22

I went back to the tree at the metropolitan square building and got some detail shots of the tree. For some reason this ornament stuck out to me.

These also stuck out. I like love the snowflake is at the very edge of the shadow like it is almost going to hide from you .

This is by far my favorite photo i took of the tree. To me it just has that pop to it. The blue over that gold and brown.

But then after i got done taking photo of the tree the guard on duty ask me if i wanted to go to the top of the met and of course  I did

This was taken from the 42nd of the met unfortunately I did not have a tripod with me so i could not get exactly how I wanted it but i will be going back up there later next year

Then I took a stroll down to the city garden and saw this it is one of those thing that make you go hmmm

Now I thought this was kinda neat the whole tree is not lit with light around it but the whole tree  glowed so it made the branches pop a little

I was also at the 360 lounge and took some photos from up there also i thought it was nice because of the sun going down and reflecting off the buildings

I know it is just simple shot but it is also very nice to see something like this once in a awhile

I thought this turned out really well I like how the river became almost a leading line

They also had some gas fire feature like this up there at 360 lounge and standing by them it was not as cold.

Some one famous said 'A picture is worth a thousand words ' and I am finding that some of the photos telling a story or at least to me they are .  The story is where i went last week mainly, but also about the cool places I have been and the people I have meet at these places for example the guard at the met building also I meet some people from Iowa and they in town for the weekend

the week of the december 9-15

This is the new bridge going over the Mississippi river in ST Louis.  The bridge is not done yet and i think will also be talker
Thia was along the path that I took to go to the new bridge it is a really cool place to check out when you have the time and this is part of a sculpture that you can walk on. Some homeless probably live underneath it because there where a mattress and clothing under it
This is a power plant on the river downtown St.Louis and it just shows you how stuff looked back then we have a new power that just got bulit and it has no character it it at all this to me has the classic feeling to ti
And of course it is Christmas so I had to find a tree i liked and this one is in the metropolitan square building
This i just something that spark myinterst on the tree
I also go to forest park a lot and this one of the gazebo that is there from the 1904 world's fail
this is the whole of that gazebo I find it odd that there is no way to get on it unless you swim for it and i don't they would let you do that

So there you have it this was my week in photos hope you like
